First Road Bike

Vokinloksar33 August 27, 2019 #review #personal #roadbike

I was fascinated by both the concepts and the aesthetics of a drop bar, they truly looked too attractive to me and I've got to have one.

I intended to build a maybe cinelli fixie by myself, but it will cost even much and I do have a little concern of whether I can handle a fixed gear. For safer reasons I choose to start with a road.

I've checked many models and finally decide to get the Triban RC 520 with 105 R7000 deurailer and TRP hy/rd disc brake, and some decent shimano bb and crakset. The frame set and wheel set of the bike is just fine. The somewhat carbon fork doesn't looked much difference to me. But for the RMB 5k price and the low-profile apperence, I think it's good enough.

Still I would try to replace some components that smells cheap and give the bike a little bit of design by adding a deep-brown leather color on top of its deep dark and blue feel, hope it would looked more classic.
