Delivery app purchase review

Recently I decided to add as much possible reviews to the services that I used everyday as possible. For example: grocery delivery (盒马freshhema), and food/beverage delivery (meituan), and also merchandising platforms like taobao, JD, etc. My initiative is to admit other people's endeavor and be less indifferent. But the reviewing process ain't that easy as I figured.

This article is purely from a customer perspective which I know is very limited and low info density. Take it as pure bumming

Easiest to use: freshhema

freshhema's review system is by far the easiest to use for me. It has the "review next" function that you can click and continue review another purchase you made.

Evil: Meituan

Meituan is a mostly if not the most used delivery app that are used among top cities. Yet the review processing is highly restrictive for me:

• Considered itself as a day-to-day platform, meituan won't provide desktop client for efficiency. (Okay this is not that needed you say)
• Meituan has a limited period time for review, I can not review purchases past two weeks, which makes it kind of a complusy to review instantly (if you do review)
• The review system is complicated in it's own. Like there's review for delivery, for merchant, for every standalone skus...

Reflection

For me, I'm not really that into reviewing the content quality of the product. But I do like to give some appreciation for those who served me whenever I enjoyed the serve.

I think in that way there exists two really diffferent use case for writing reviews. And these apps seems to have neglect such possibilities.

Or maybe it's just me who want's to express the inner unease under the pressue of captailsm and materialism someway
